Poland started the evacuation of ethnic Poles from the territory of Donbas. This was reported by the TV channel "112 Ukraine" . The source notes that the details of the operation have not been disclosed for security reasons.

Earlier it was reported that the citizens of Polish origin who wish to leave the region, are evacuated to Kharkov, and from the Polish bus takes in the neighboring state. In Donetsk, on the issue was negotiated. In the city, as noted, was attended by representatives of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs Marcin Wojciechowski.

According to a representative of the Society of Polish Culture Donbass Valentina Starushko, evacuation will take about 7 to 10 days. In total, it is planned to export from the region about 200 people.

According to UNIAN , earlier, in December, a group of ethnic Poles living in the east of Ukraine, appealed to the Polish government to assist in the repatriation of the difficult situation in the region.

In Poland the Ministry of Interior reported that the evacuation is planned for the second half of January.

For persons will be held language courses, they will be given permanent residence card in Poland, local authorities are also ready to help them with employment.
