International Project Material Evidence Expo

From January 15 to January 29, an international project Material Evidence (Exhibits), will present its exhibition on the history of the military presence of the US military in Iraq and Afghanistan. Exhibition «Material Evidence. Iraq. Afghanistan »held in Moscow exhibition complex MOD Design, near the metro station Krasnopresnenskaya. The gallery address: Small Konyushkovskaya lane 2. The official opening will take place on January 15th 2015.

The main objective of the project - is to inform the world community about the veracity of the events in countries experiencing armed conflicts. The exposition will present documentary evidence of hostilities that took place in Iraq and Afghanistan: the work of photographers from around the world who witnessed the tragedy, as well as artifacts that were removed from the hot spots at the risk of life. Exhibition «Material Evidence. Iraq. Afghanistan »is intended to show the objective reality of the events, as well as the current situation in countries such as Iraq and Afghanistan.

For interested visitors during the exhibition will be held special events and lectures associated with both war photographer and the history of Iraq and Afghanistan. Lectures and master classes will be held the exhibition curator Benjamin Hiller, invited experts in the field of the history of Iraq and Afghanistan, as well as independent journalists, military photographers and correspondents. All lectures and presentations will be held in English and Russian languages.
